Description
Chromakey fabrics are used in creating film and TV special effects.
Chromakey green and blue fabrics are used in creating film and TV special effects. The fabric is usually made of highly reflective, non-textured material that is coloured either green or blue. During post-production, software replaces the green or blue background with a different image or video, allowing actors or objects to appear as if they are in a different location or setting. Chromakey fabric is popular in the film and television industry, as it offers a cost-effective and efficient way to create complex visual effects without the need for expensive sets or location shoots. For reference below, GSM stands for Grams per Square Meter (g/m2). It is the weight of the fabric if you take a sheet of material that is one meter by one-meter square and weigh it in grams.
