Earlville Cairns Cinemas in Queensland recently underwent a major refurbishment, and we at Specialty Theatre were thrilled to be a part of it.
Our team of expert technicians flew out to Cairns to carry out a range of tasks that would help bring the magic back to the big screen.
One of the major tasks we undertook was the manufacturing and installation of new curtains. We used high-quality black IRF wool to create curtains that not only look great but also help to improve acoustics within the cinema. The curtains not only look aesthetically pleasing but also have a practical purpose by reducing the noise that can be heard within the auditorium.
In addition to the curtains, we also replaced all surround speakers and speaker brackets in the Vmax auditorium. This was a crucial aspect of the refurbishment as it helped to ensure that the sound quality was top-notch, giving movie-goers an immersive and engaging experience.
But we didn’t stop there. Our team also completed cleaning works and installed new cinema screens in other auditoriums. The new screens provide a crisp, clear picture and ensure that every seat in the house has a great view of the action.
